Our 2024 Visit (Updates & News)
Myillidi Free Medical Clinic

Following our last visit, the clinic is conducting 3 clinics per week which is an increase from last year where they were managing 2 clinics per week.
We have also been regularly providing pregnancy baskets for pregnant women.

We also met the public health nurse who requested access to use the building for her clinics and to store her materials, which we authorised.

The clinic is conducting 3 clinics per week.
We have also been giving pregnancy baskets for pregnant women.

Following our visit, we have decided to:
- To purchase more antibiotics for patients
- Fund monthly health educational classes with refreshment for village people
- Start Free English classes for primary school children.
- Start Araneri classes
- Fit a Ceiling fan / AC

Abayam 24/7 Mental Health/Suicidal Prevention Helpline Team
Location: Jaffna

We met Abayam’s Mental Health / Suicidal Prevention Helpline Team with the lead for his team Dr Sathiyamoorthy, who is also the Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital at Jaffna Hospital.
Following our visit, we have decided to:
- Appoint another counseller to the team to aid the current team of 2 counsellors and 5 doctors.
